The Hounslow Wii-lympics/ The HOTs
A project designed to engage and enthuse every young person (aged 5-19 ) at school in the London Borough of Hounslow in sport using the Nintendo Wii as a springboard. Young People will have to form their own teams, work on training plans, dietary plans, know about muscle groups and the harsh world of sports publicity before having the chance to compete in a grand Wii-Lympics weekend of game playing. This project is the Inspire London 2012 Olympics Project for the London Borough of Hounslow
Windows On …
Five project sites across London where the digital artwork created by over 120 children can be found. The Windows on Project develops skills in photography and digital image manipulation . Creating lasting artworks for local spaces. Engaging and empowering young people to connect to their communities.
Community E- Safety Workshops
Information workshops for families living in Cantelowes (Camden) area created to highlight how best to stay safe online. Supported by the Cantelowes Safer Neighbourhood Team. Pilot workshops due to be launched in 2010.
Four Ells Film Festival
Two hundred and sixty films created by Young People living or studying in the London Boroughs of Haringey, Hounslow and Brent. A two year project involving over 5,000 young people, teachers and support staff, 23 screenings at 5 venues across London. ‘Living, Laughter, Life and Love’ – The Four ‘L’s www.fourellsfilmfestival.com
