Barry Ferns (one of the TWC Team) writes about his creative session at Featherstone:
“The project at Featherstone was a creative day where creative people came into the school to talk about their careers and give learning advice. There was a theatre director, a photographer, a tabla player and sometone doing a workshop on career guidance and creative goals.
I did three workshops; one on stand up comedy, one on drama and comedy and a third on script writing. They were all an hour long and gave an insight into the three subjects for the young people. The day was finished off with a Q&A Session.
A really lovely day which was well organised by the team at Featherstone. Look forward to next year!”
